Two quarterbacks linked for life match up today at Heinz field. Eli Manning and Ben Roethlisberger are part of the same 2004 draft class and both have a couple of Super Bowl titles. Match ups between the two are few and far between. This one matters as both teams, the New York Giants (8-3) and the Pittsburgh Steelers (6-5), are fighting for a playoff spot.

WHAT TO LOOK FOR – WEEK 13

A WINNING COMBINATION: New England quarterback TOM BRADY recorded his 200th career victory (including the postseason) in the Patriots’ 22-17 win at the New York Jets last week, tying PEYTON MANNING (200) for the most wins by a starting quarterback in NFL history.With a victory against Los Angeles on Sunday, Brady would become the all-time wins leader (including playoffs) in league history.
Brady (200-61, .766) owns the highest winning percentage among quarterbacks with at least 50 career starts since the 1970 merger. With a victory over the Rams this week, he would become the first quarterback in NFL history with a record 140 games over .500 at any point in his career. Steelers
The Patriots enter Week 13 with a 9-2 record, tied with the Oakland Raiders (9-2) atop the AFC. With a win on Sunday, the Patriots would clinch their 14th consecutive season with at least 10 wins, the second-longest streak of 10-win seasons in NFL history. The 1983-1998 San Francisco 49ers (16) are the only franchise with more consecutive seasons with at least 10 victories. Steelers
PRESCOTT FINDING PAYDIRT: Dallas quarterback DAK PRESCOTT leads NFL rookies in passing yards (2,835), touchdown passes (18) and passer rating (108.6). With two touchdown passes on Thursday night at Minnesota, Prescott would join CHARLIE CONERLY (22) as the only rookie quarterbacks to throw at least 20 touchdown passes in his team’s first 12 games.
FITZ AMONG THE FINEST: Arizona wide receiver LARRY FITZGERALD recorded four catches in the Cardinals’ 38-19 loss to Atlanta last week, bringing his career reception total to 1,096.With seven catches against Washington on Sunday, Fitzgerald would surpass Pro Football Hall of Famers CRIS CARTER (1,101) and MARVIN HARRISON (1,102) for the third-most career receptions in NFL history.
THE COMEBACK KID: Detroit quarterback MATTHEW STAFFORD has engineered seven game-winning drives in the fourth quarter or overtime in 2016, while helping the Lions become the first team in NFL history to record seven wins when trailing in the fourth quarter in the team’s first 11 games of a season.With a game-winning drive in the fourth quarter or overtime at New Orleans on Sunday, Stafford would record the most such drives in a single season since the 1970 merger. RACKING UP THE YARDS: New Orleans quarterback DREW BREES leads the NFL with 3,587 passing yards this season and has passed for at least 3,500 yards in 12 consecutive seasons, the second-longest streak in NFL history. PEYTON MANNING passed for 3,500+ yards in 13 consecutive seasons from 1998-2010.With 413 passing yards on Sunday, Brees would become the first quarterback in NFL history to record 4,000 passing yards through his team’s first 12 games of a season twice in his career, having also accomplished the feat in 2011.
