Milwaukee Brewers vs. Chicago Cubs Free Preview 08/14/18

The Milwaukee Brewers are paying a visit to Chicago to square off against their division rival Cubs at Wrigley Field. The opening pitch is scheduled for 2:20 p.m. ET and NBC Sports Chicago will broadcast the matchup.

The Brewers are 67-54 SU and are 63-58 against the spread (ATS). They’ve accumulated 9.8 units for moneyline gamblers and 1.8 units ATS. Milwaukee is 3-4 ATS over its last seven games and the total has gone over in five of those seven. The Cubs, on the other hand, are 68-49 SU and 59-58 ATS. The team’s gained 0.6 units for bettors taking the moneyline and 0.6 units ATS. Chicago has a 3-4 ATS record over its last seven outings and the under has cashed in four of those seven.

The Brewers have lost 5.8 units and are 13-18 ATS when facing a left-handed starting pitcher this year. The over has cashed in 20 of those games, as opposed to 11 that’ve hit the under in such games. On the other hand, the Cubs have lost 4.5 units and are 44-46 ATS when facing a right-handed starting pitcher. The over’s hit in 41 of those games, as opposed to 46 which went under the total.
