MLB News: World Series ‘Save The Beers’ Guy Worth $7.2 Million To Bud Light

Remember the guy in game five who held onto the beers in each fist when Yordan Alvarez homered? Now, that man has a name. Also, he has a moniker. Furthermore, that man’s name is Jeff Adams, and Bud Light is sending ‘Beers over Baseball’ guy to World Series Game six in Houston tonight.

The reasoning is simple. Adams was worth $7.2 million to Bud Light that night, according to Apex Marketing. Without question – in a fated moment – an impromptu home run ball that struck Adams in the guy was a big win for Bud Light, Adams, and all of us.

Check out this tweet from Darren Rovell on twitter.

Indeed, tonight is game six in Houston and Stephen Strasburg and Justin Verlander will square off. Perhaps a new champion in the game of baseball will be crowed. However, the big news is that this man in the Washington Nationals crowd has a shirt that Bud Light has created in his likenness with a slogan on it.

“Always save the beers.”

Finally, this is a pretty cool thing. If you were one of the people who saw Alvarez’s historic home run off Joe Ross of the Nationals, you definitely saw this happen right away. Moreover, you said to yourself rhetorically ‘oh my gosh that guy just saved his beers/Bud Light’.

Which is everything to the company right now. Surely Adams and the beer company advertisers are rooting for a game seven for more than one reason.
