NASCAR Odds – Quaker State 400 from Kentucky TNT Saturday Night!

NASCAR odds:   The Hendrick Motorsports Dynamic Duo of Jeff Gordon and Jimmie Johnson have been dominating the NASCAR Sprint Cup Standings but Dale Earnhardt Jr has also been lurking in the background as he guns for his first ever Sprint Cup Championship.  Solid pros Matt Kenseth, Brad Keselowski, Carl Edwards and Joey Logano are also top contenders with upstart rookie Kyle Larson, Kevin Harvick, and Kyle Busch.  The Kentucky Speedway will host the Quaker State 400 on Saturday night with coverage on TNT starting at 7:30 PM ET.

Quaker State 400 Overview

The Quaker State 400 has run for the past three years as Kentucky finally got the Sprint Cup date that they had coveted since opening the track in 2001.  Matt Kenseth won the race at Kentucky last year with Brad Keselowski winning in 2012 and Kyle Busch taking the checkers in 2011.  The Kentucky Speedway is a 1.5 mile tri-oval track with an asphalt surface and 4 turns with banks of 14 degrees, with a tri-oval bank of 8-10 degrees and a straight bank of 4 degrees.

Matt Kenseth has 3 career starts at Kentucky with 1 win, 1 top 5 finish and 3 top 10 finishes with an average finish of 4.7.

Kyle Busch has 3 career starts at Kentucky with 1 win, 2 top 5 finishes and 3 top 10 finishes with an average finish of 5.3.

Jimmie Johnson has maintained his machine like ways at Kentucky with 3 career starts, 1 top 5 and 3 top 10 finishes with an average finish of 6.0.

Johnson’s Hendrick Motorsports teammate Jeff Gordon has 3 career starts at Kentucky with 1 top 5 and 3 top 10 finishes with an average finish of 7.7.
