In this Sunday AFC game, Jacksonville is getting picked as the favorite and the team’s currently giving up 8 points. The Jets are also receiving +260 moneyline odds while the Jaguars are -330. Oddsmakers have set the over/under (O/U) at 38 points, and if one side can catch a lucky break early on, it’ll likely lead to a worthy betting opportunity in-game.

The O/U has not changed after being set initially at 38. Having said that, the line opened at -9 and early action has leaned toward the Jets.

Jacksonville narrowly lost a 9-6 game to Tennessee in Week 3. Blake Bortles completed 21-of-34 passes for 155 yards. T.J. Yeldon contributed all over the place in the loss. In addition to 44 rushing yards on seven attempts, Yeldon also reeled in six receptions for 46 yards.

New York has run the ball on 47.8 percent of its offensive possessions this year while Jacksonville has a rush percentage of 38.8 percent. The Jets have produced 106 rush yards/game and have four scores on the ground this year. The Jags are averaging 109 rush yards per game and have yet to record a rushing TD.

The Jets offense has tallied 234 yards/game through the air overall and has three passing TDs so far. The Jags have produced 236 pass yards per contest and have five total pass score.

New York has let opponents rush for an average of 102 yards and throw for 229 yards per game. The Jacksonville D has allowed 188.7 yards per game to opposing passers and 115.3 yards per game on the ground. On the other sideline, Blake Bortles has managed to complete 39-of-67 passes for 331 yards, one TD and one INT. Bortles’ ANY/A sits at 4.06 for the season and 6.78 over his past two games.
