In the Fighting Hawks’ last outing, they dismantled the Concordia (NE) Bulldogs, 89-56. The Fighting Hawks had a much better free throw rate (0.154 vs. 0.000) and had a much better offensive rebounding percentage (43.3 vs. 25.6). North Dakota received a boost from Conner Avants, who was the game’s high scorer with 22 points on 9-for-12 shooting.

The Wolverines beat the Long Beach State 49ers in their last game, 87-72. The Wolverines, who came into the game averaging an offensive rebounding percentage of 23.8, had a fantastic mark of 48.0 and had a free throw rate of 0.360 (above their season average of 0.164). With 14 points and 10 rebounds, Baylee Steele played well for Utah Valley.
