The Oklahoma City Thunder (7-4) put their seven-game winning streak on the line when they square off with the Dallas Mavericks (3-8) at American Airlines Center. The game starts at 9 p.m. ET on Saturday, November 10, 2018, and will air on Fox SportsNet Oklahoma.

Oklahoma City Thunder at Dallas Mavericks Betting Prediction

In the Thunder’s last matchup, they thoroughly outplayed the Houston Rockets, 98-80, as 5-point underdogs. The game’s combined points (178) came in well under the O/U total of 213.5. The Thunder made 17 of their 24 free throws (70.8 percent) and had an offensive rebounding percentage of 32.5 (above their season average of 25.5). Oklahoma City was lifted by Paul George, who was the top scorer from either team with 20 points on 7-for-21 shooting.

The Mavericks fell to the Utah Jazz in their last contest, 117-102. They failed to cover as 10-point underdogs. The game’s combined points (219) were over the O/U total of 214. Utah’s turnover percentage was the team’s biggest strength over Dallas. The Jazz had a rate of 9.9 (better than their season average of 13.3), while the Mavericks posted a mark of 20.9 (above their season average of 14.1). With 11 points and 12 rebounds, DeAndre Jordan had a solid performance for Dallas.

This has potential to be a mistake-prone game for the Dallas offense. Dallas ranks 28th in the league in ball protection (turnover percentage of 16.3 percent), while the ball-hawking defense of Oklahoma City forces the second-most turnovers in the league (17.3 percent).

Oklahoma City comes into the game with records of 7-4 straight up (SU) and 7-4 against the spread (ATS). A little over half of the Thunder’s games have finished under the O/U total.

Meanwhile, Dallas owns records of 3-8 SU and 6-5 ATS. Of the Mavericks’ 11 games, 7 have finished over the total.

Dennis Schroder and Jerami Grant have played well over the last five games for Oklahoma City. Schroder has averaged 20.4 points per game. Not to be outdone, Grant has put up 13.8 points, 5.8 rebounds and 1.4 steals a game during that span.

After splitting four games last season, these teams will clash for the first time this year. The Thunder won the most recent matchup 111-110. Oklahoma City had a much better offensive rebounding percentage (40.4 vs. 17.8). Dallas, on the other hand, had a better turnover percentage (14.1 vs. 17.8).
