Pittsburgh Pirates at Colorado Rockies Matchup 08/06/18

The ice-cold Colorado Rockies are trying to avoid dropping their fifth in a row as they play host to the Pittsburgh Pirates at Coors Field. The opening pitch is scheduled for 8:40 p.m. ET and this NL showdown will be televised on ATRM and ATPT.

Pittsburgh Pirates vs. Colorado Rockies Odds

Oddsmakers have listed Pittsburgh (+130) as the underdog to Colorado (-140). Bettors can wager on the game’s total with odds sitting at -115 for over 11 runs and -105 for under 11. Bettors can also wager on the game’s spread with the runline odds sitting at -170 for the Pirates +1.5 runs and +150 for the Rockies -1.5 runs.

The Pirates have gone 57-54 SU this year and are 52-59 against the spread (ATS). They’ve gained 2.0 units for moneyline gamblers, despite having lost 9.0 units ATS. Colorado’s pitchers have given up 4.8 runs per game overall in 2018 as a unit. The team’s starters have an ERA of 4.33, a WHIP of 1.31 and a strikeouts-per-nine of 8.4. The bullpen has a 5.19 ERA, 1.45 WHIP and 8.9 K/9.
