In the Kings’ last matchup, they easily covered the 2-point spread against the Atlanta Hawks, 146-115. The game’s total points (261) came in well over the O/U total of 233. The Kings forced 22 turnovers and had an effective field goal percentage of 0.612 (above their season average of 0.553). De’Aaron Fox played an enormous role in the victory for Sacramento, collecting 31 points, 15 assists and 10 rebounds on his way to his zeroth triple-double this season.

The Bucks were beaten by the Boston Celtics in their last game, 117-113. They were unable to cover as 2-point underdogs. The game’s total points (230) finished over the projected point total of 220.5. Boston’s 10.9 turnover percentage was the team’s largest strength over Milwaukee, who had a rate of 12.5. The Celtics’ mark was better than their season average of 11.8. With 33 points on 13-for-22 shooting, Giannis Antetokounmpo was the game’s high scorer.

The Bucks won both games against the Kings last season. In the last contest, Milwaukee won 109-104. The Bucks knocked down 35 of their 42 free throws (83.3 percent) and had a much better offensive rebounding percentage (25.0 vs. 18.2).

Sacramento heads into the game with records of 6-3 straight up (SU) and 7-2 against the spread (ATS). Of the Kings’ nine games, six have gone over the O/U total.

Meanwhile, Milwaukee is 7-1 SU and 5-3 ATS. Games including the Bucks also have a tendency to finish over the total (75.0 percent).

Half-court execution will be critical when a pair of the league’s slowest-paced teams square off. Milwaukee ranks 27th in possessions per game (98.5) and Sacramento is 28th (98.2) since the 2017-18 season.
