Are the Seattle Seahawks looking to trade pass rusher Frank Clark? They hit him with the franchise tag early in the offseason and, if he signs it, he’ll be due $17.128 million this season. Clark hasn’t inked the deal yet, so he’s obviously looking for a long-term contract and Seattle isn’t eager to give him one. So to hedge their bets, they’re shopping him. Last year Clark had 13 sacks, four forced fumbles and a pick.

Benjamin Watson might return for a 16th season

Benjamin Watson is 38 years old and intended to retire after last season. Only now he’s maybe changed his mind. He’s No. 14 in NFL history in tight end receptions with 530. Last year Watson caught 35 passes for 400 yards and two touchdowns.

Former Tampa Bay Buccaneers running back Reggie Cobb dies

Reggie Cobb, a current scout for the San Francisco 49ers, passed away Saturday at 50 years old. Cobb has scouted for the Tampa Bay Buccaneers and Washington Redskins. As a player, Cobb was a second round pick by the Bucs out of Tennessee in the 1990 NFL Draft. He played seven seasons in the NFL, rushing for 3,743 yards and 25 touchdowns.

Baldwin still not ready for Seahawks

Seattle Seahawks wide receiver Doug Baldwin is still recovering from surgeries on his shoulder, knee and a hernia. He’ll likely miss all of training camp. Baldwin appeared in 13 games last season, catching 50 passes for 618 yards and five touchdowns.
