Tori Bindi and Autumn Finke are awarded postgraduate scholarships from the NCAA

Gators athletics is recognized for producing exceptional individuals. Tori Bindi and Autumn Finke are two outstanding instances of precisely that. The NCAA gave the two former swimmers each a postgraduate scholarship worth $10,000.

Every year, 126 collegiate athletes receive awards from the NCAA Postgraduate Scholarship Program. Student-athletes who excel academically and athletically while demonstrating a strong sense of community commitment are chosen. Since 1969, 59 Gators have been awarded NCAA Postgraduate Scholarships, according to this statement. Finke and Bindi will benefit from the scholarships as they pursue higher education.

The award will help Finke pay for law school. She recently completed the first of her three years at the Levin College of Law at the University of Florida. Finke didn’t always know she wanted to go to law school, though. She had originally intended to become a teacher, like her mother.
