UFC 226 Undercard Odds

UFC 226 Undercard Odds For Saturday – The UFC is in Las Vegas for their 226th PPV and the entire six fight undercard is set to air on Fox Sports 1. The main portion of the card is set to air on pay-per-view with one title match as the featherweight title fight between Max Holloway and Brian Ortega came apart at the last minute.

The Fox Sports 1 broadcast is expected to end with welterweight action as Mike Perry (11-3) faces Paul Felder (15-3). Perry was 4-1 in the UFC before he dropped two fights in a row, so he is in a must win situation. Early in his UFC career “Platinum” Perry was starting to get known for his antics at the press conferences and weigh-ins but that type of stuff does not fly when you are getting beat. It will be interesting to see if he brings any type of “show” or tries any attention getting tactics.

Felder had a rocky 2-2 start with the UFC before winning five of six. He enters the fight with Perry on a three fight winning streak, scoring stoppage wins over Charles Oliveira, Steven Ray and Alessandro Ricci. Felder is the one with more to lose here, as a four fight winning streak could take up to two years to recover, so he does not want to lose what he has.

UFC 226 Undercard Odds For Saturday

At bantamweight, this is a prove it fight for Rob Font. Font is 5-2 overall with the UFC but he is coming off a knock out win over highly regarded Brazilian prospect Thomas Almeida that got everybody’s attention. Assuncao (26-5) is a load for anyone in the weight class. He has gone 10-1 in his last 11 fights, with his lone loss coming against champion TJ Dillashaw in July of 2016. He has won three in a row since then and he is looking to get himself back in the title picture. At 35 years old, Assuncao may be nearing the end of his title window, so he will want to be impressive. The record of Brazilian contenders who have been given a second title shot after failing the first time is not good with the UFC, so Assuncao has no choice but to get in there and keep doing the work.

One interesting question surrounding the UFC 226 show is how many PPV sales will the show make. The show was put together with the heavyweight superfight between Stipe Miocic and Daniel Cormier in the main event spot and a strong supporting card has been put together. Losing the featherweight title fight between Max Holloway and Brian Ortega that was in the co-feature spot takes away from the card’s strength. Someone should take odds on whether it sells more or less than 300,ooo PPV buys.

Below are the odds for the Fox Sports 1 undercard. Check your local listings for start times.
