UFC Fight Night 91 Main Fight Odds

UFC Fight Night 91 Main Fight Odds – This coming Wednesday, July 13th, the UFC is at the Denny Sanford Premier Center in Sioux Falls, South Dakota with their Fight Night 91 card. The featured bouts are set to air on Fox Sports 1, with the rest of the card available at the UFC Fight Pass.

The bout is interesting as Lineker has long been a standout at 125 pounds and this fight sees him moving up in weight. Lineker is 8-2 in the UFC and, at 125 pounds, could likely be the next challenge for Demetrious Johnson’s title. McDonald is no slouch. He is 17-3 overall, and though he is 2-2 in his last four fights, the losses come to Urijah Faber and Renan Barao, so he has been fighting the elite of the 135 lb weight class for a while now. McDonald won his return fight this past January when he beat Masanori Kanehara, but that came after a layoff of three years. What he now needs is a return to fighting consistently, because at 25 years old, if he can stay healthy he is still capable of making a run at the title currently held by Dominic Cruz.

The co-feature bout comes in the Lightweight division, and it carries the widest line of the card as Tony Ferguson (20-3) takes on Landon Vannata (8-0). Ferguson is one of the hottest fighters on the UFC roster, as The Ultimate Fighter reality show season 13 winner is 10-1 overall in the UFC and has won seven in a row. This fight was supposed to pit him against fellow TUF standout Michael Chiesa but Chiesa was a late scratch due to a back injury. Vannata comes out of the east coast circuit and has a fine record, but he is making his UFC debut and his resume does not hint that he is ready for Ferguson. Vannata has a chance to be a major spoiler here, as Ferguson is probably one win away from earning a title shot.

A middleweight feature bout sees veteran Tim Boetsch (18-10) still hanging on to his UFC job as he is called upon to face Josh Samman (12-3). Boetsch is 2-6 in his last eight fights, so a loss here will likely spell the end of his UFC career. Samman is 3-1 in the UFC, but he saw a three fight winning streak snapped in his last outing when he was stopped by Tamdan McCrory. Samman came from the reality series “The Ultimate Fighter” and is still just 28 years old, while Boetsch is 7-7 overall in his UFC career and in danger of falling under .500 with a loss here. This is a fight of two fighters who are heading in different directions. The question is can Boetsch prolong the inevitable end that is coming.
