The 2026 FIFA World Cup kicks off June 11, and final 26-player squads must be submitted to FIFA by June 1 with official announcements to follow, the report says. Many national teams have released preliminary or final lists ahead of that deadline, and this item summarizes those lists released so far.

Per the report, nations were required to submit provisional squad lists of between 35 and 55 players, including at least four goalkeepers, to FIFA by May 11. The report says these provisional lists are largely administrative and countries were not required to release them to the public.

The report lists the teams in Group A and notes which squads have been made public. Mexico and Czechia announced preliminary squads on May 12, according to the report.
