According to People, Philadelphia Eagles wide receiver A.J. Brown and Kelsey Nicole Riley were married over the weekend in an oceanfront ceremony at Montage Laguna Beach in California. The couple’s events began Friday with a welcome party and continued Saturday with the ceremony and reception attended by about 200 guests.
Guests from the NFL included some of Brown’s Eagles teammates and peers from around the league, among them DeVonta Smith, Saquon Barkley, Deebo Samuel and DK Metcalf, according to People. For the ceremony Brown wore a custom white Dolce & Gabbana tuxedo. The couple processed down the aisle to Drake and Yebba’s “Yebba’s Heartbreak” and Beyoncé’s “Die With You,” and took their first dance to Ledisi’s “Anything for You,” featuring PJ Morton. Pastor Mike McClure Jr., who has more than 1.7 million followers on Instagram, officiated the wedding.
People reported the welcome party carried a bayou theme as a tribute to Riley’s Louisiana roots, a nod to a tradition at Louisiana weddings. A New Orleans band performed and the menu included shrimp and grits, fried alligator and pasta.
Brown told People that marriage for him was a covenant with God and a formal commitment between him and Riley, and that making her his wife and giving her his last name meant everything to him. The couple share a son, Arthur Juan Brown Jr., who is 3 and was born in September 2022, according to People.
According to People, Brown finished the 2025 regular season with 78 receptions for 1,003 yards and seven touchdowns for the Eagles.
