IWLCA National Coach of the Year is Levy

Jenny Levy was awarded the 2022 NCAA Division I National Coach of the Year by the Intercollegiate Women’s Lacrosse Coaches Association after she guided the University of North Carolina to its third national title in program history.

Levy has received this distinction three times, the first two times coming after UNC won the national championship in 2013 and 2016. Levy was named the South Region Coach of the Year for the second season in a row and for the fourth time in her career by the IWLCA, which also revealed its annual coaches honors on Tuesday.

In 2022, the Tar Heels achieved their first unbeaten campaign in team history, and no NCAA champion had had one since 2017. Levy led UNC to its 10th participation in the last 13 years on championship weekend, which is tied for the most of any coach in history. At the IWLCA Convention in Dallas, Texas, in November 2022, Levy will be presented with her honor.
