Micah Kiser was a fifth round pick for the Los Angeles Rams out of the University of Virginia in 2018. A year later, he’s penciled in as a starting inside linebacker after the team cut ties with Mark Barron. Kiser never made a start last season, but did record four tackles in the regular season and two in the postseason. His senior year at Virginia, Kiser notched 143 tackles, 9.5 for a loss, four passes defended, two fumble recoveries and five sacks.

Onyemata suspended a game

The New Orleans Saints will be without the services of defensive tackle David Onyemata for their season opening game. Onyemata has been hit with a one-game suspension for violating the league’s substance abuse policy. Onyemata started four games last season, recording 35 tackle and 4.5 sacks.

Connor Barwin wants to be an Eagle

Connor Barwin would like to get a job with his old team. The passrusher spent last season with the New York Giants, recording 12 tackles and a sack. Barwin is openly campaigning for a return to the Philadelphia Eagles, the team he played for from 2013-2016.
