Louisiana Tech Bulldogs at FIU Golden Panthers Free Prediction

In the Bulldogs’ last contest, they were topped by the Florida Atlantic Owls, 69-61. Florida Atlantic made good use of their 30 trips to the charity stripe, making 24 of them (80.0 percent). Louisiana Tech, on the other hand, was just 12-18 (66.7 percent). Amorie Archibald was Louisiana Tech’s high scorer with 18 points on 6-for-13 shooting.

The Golden Panthers were beaten by the Southern Miss Golden Eagles in their last matchup, 89-73. Southern Miss’ effective field goal percentage was their largest strength over FIU. The Golden Eagles had a rate of 0.625 (above their season average of 0.522), while the Golden Panthers posted a mark of 0.500. With 21 points on 7-for-13 shooting, Willy Nunez Jr. was the game’s high scorer.

After the Golden Panthers won the lone game against the Bulldogs last season, 71-68, these teams will meet for the first time this year. FIU had a much better turnover percentage (8.1 vs. 17.2). Louisiana Tech, on the other hand, had a much better offensive rebounding percentage (30.3 vs. 18.4).

It will be a battle of conflicting styles as the up-tempo Golden Panthers (ranked first in the nation in possessions per game) will look to push the more methodical Bulldogs (240th in possessions per game).
