Temple just earned a 35-14 win over Maryland. The defense allowed the Terrapins to run for 132 yards on 31 rush attempts. Anthony McFarland had a good outing in the defeat for Maryland, recording 107 rushing yards on 11 attempts. For Temple, Anthony Russo completed 15-of-25 passes for 228 yards, one touchdown and one interception. Ryquell Armstead (118 yards on 26 rush attempts) mounted the running game as Ventell Bryant (five receptions, 45 yards) and Freddie Johnson (three catches, 86 yards, one TD) led the receiving corps in the win.

Tulsa has run the ball on 65.0 percent of its offensive possessions this year while Temple has an overall rush percentage of 51.0 percent. The Golden Hurricane have produced 210 rush yards per game and have six scores on the ground this year. The Owls are averaging 109 rush yards per game and have two total rushing TDs.
