Liverpool have compiled a six-player shortlist of wingers that includes AC Milan’s Christian Pulisic, according to TEAMtalk. The report names Paris Saint-Germain’s Bradley Barcola, Brighton’s Yankuba Minteh, Cologne’s Said El Mala, Hoffenheim’s Bazoumana Traore and Lille’s Matias Fernandez-Pardo alongside Pulisic.
TEAMtalk notes that Milan failed to qualify for the Champions League for a second consecutive season and that Pulisic, 27, has been on duty with the USMNT at the World Cup. The former Chelsea forward has reportedly drawn attention from scouts at Anfield.
Arsenal are tracking PSG winger Bradley Barcola and are reportedly ready to step up their interest, the BBC reports. Barcola, 23, is viewed as an alternative to Aston Villa’s Morgan Rogers after Arsenal were told Rogers could cost about £130 million, while The Athletic says PSG would only consider offers of more than €130 million to move Barcola.
The BBC also reports Arsenal are exploring the possibility of signing former Leeds goalkeeper Illan Meslier on a free transfer as Kepa Arrizabalaga could depart.
Paris Saint-Germain are accelerating interest in Bournemouth striker Junior Kroupi, TEAMtalk reports. The 20-year-old is said to top PSG’s striker shortlist as options to replace Gonçalo Ramos and the outgoing Randal Kolo Muani; Bournemouth are reportedly seeking around €100 million, and Arsenal have also been linked.
Manchester United have spoken to Marcus Rashford’s camp about the forward staying at the club this summer, according to Fabrizio Romano. Rashford spent last season on loan at Barcelona, which did not trigger a €30 million permanent transfer clause in his deal.
Inter Milan are increasing their interest in Chelsea defender Trevoh Chalobah, Gazzetta dello Sport reports, with Como having an earlier €27 million bid rejected as Chelsea hold out for about €35 million. Separately, ESPN reports Tottenham have agreed a club-record £85 million deal with West Ham for Mateus Fernandes, and Everton are set to sign Middlesbrough midfielder Hayden Hackney for about £25 million. Fabrizio Romano adds that Bournemouth have offered Alex Scott a new contract and that Juventus are set to sign Genoa forward Jeff Ekhator for €16 million plus €2 million in add-ons.
