Jason Zucker cut Buffalo’s deficit to 3-2 with a power-play goal at the 13:56 mark of the first, the report says. Buffalo coach Lindy Ruff did not announce a starting goaltender after the team’s morning skate on Saturday, per the report.
Both Lyon and Luukkonen played in Game 5 of the Eastern Conference semifinal series, which Buffalo lost 6-3, the report says. Lyon started that game and allowed five goals, according to the report.
