The St. Louis Cardinals will be squaring off against their divisional rival Chicago Cubs at Wrigley Field. The matchup will be televised nationally on Fox and the game gets underway 1:05 p.m. ET.

St. Louis Cardinals vs. Chicago Cubs Odds

The Cubs are 94-66 straight up (SU) and 78-81 against the spread (ATS). They’ve gained 2.5 units for bettors taking the moneyline while earning 3.0 units (ATS). Chicago has a 3-4 ATS mark over its last seven games and the under has cashed in four of those seven. The Cardinals are 87-73 SU and have gone 83-76 ATS. The Chicago hitters have produced 4.7 runs per outing, including 4.2 per game against divisional foes and 3.8 per game over their last five. The team has a slash-line of .256/.330/.360 over its last five contests and is 3-2 SU during that stretch.

The Cubs’ offense has been led by second baseman Javier Baez and first baseman Anthony Rizzo. Baez is hitting .291/.326/.559 with 34 home runs, 111 RBIs, 98 runs and 21 steals, and Rizzo’s line sits at .278/.373/.460 with 24 homers, 99 RBIs and 70 runs.

The Cardinals have gained 1.6 units and are 24-23 ATS when facing a lefty starter this season. The over has cashed in 29 of those games, compared to 17 that’ve gone under against left-handed starting pitchers.
