The final round of group-stage matches at the 2026 FIFA World Cup continues Wednesday, with three groups already decided Tuesday and three more to be settled the next day, according to the tournament schedule.

Play opens in Group E as Curaçao meet Ivory Coast and Ecuador face Germany. Those two fixtures will determine final placements and which teams advance from the group.

Later in Group F, Japan take on Sweden while Tunisia play the Netherlands. Both matches will be key to closing out that section of the draw and finalizing who progresses to the knockout stage.

The day concludes in Group D with Türkiye meeting co-hosts the United States, followed by Paraguay against Australia. Those matchups will wrap up the group-stage action scheduled for Wednesday.

Coverage of the tournament includes features, news, video analysis and color from around the competition, offering context and updates as the final group positions are decided.
