The 2018 NFL Draft is right around the corner, which means that mock draft and predictions are as rampant as ever. However, one interesting prognostication came from a psychic, who told Oklahoma Sooners quarterback Baker Mayfield that he’ll be drafted by the Arizona Cardinals. As a result, BetDSI Sportsbook has posted odds on that happening, and it still seems like it’s a bit of a long shot.

Lee Ann Cornell, a psychic from Pyramid of Enlightenment, sat down with Mayfield and was immediately able to read him. She called out a number of his signature characteristics – like the fact that he’s a high-energy personality – before even getting to know him. Mayfield was visibly taken aback, although he wasn’t sure whether to take it seriously or not. Then she made him pick one car from a tarot card deck palm reading, and all along Mayfield felt she had a good reading. Eventually, it came to picking a team and the psychic made him pick cards from another deck of the NFL teams and Mayfield picked the Cardinals.
The challenge is that there are a number of quarterback-needy teams at the top of the draft board and Mayfield is not expected to last long. Three quarterbacks are expected to go in the Top 5 – him, Sam Darnold and Josh Allen – while the Cardinals aren’t slotted until the 15th pick. Of course, a lot could change – namely the Cardinals trading up or quarterbacks sliding down – but as of right now, this appears to be a long shot.
In total, the Cardinals have seven draft picks, which they could use as ammunition to move up. That includes the aforementioned No. 15 pick, the 15th pick of the second and third round, an additional third-round pick (97th overall), as well as fourth, fifth and seventh round picks. To move up roughly 10 spots, the Cards would have to give up quite a bit.
