Anthony Harris was Chicago State’s leading scorer with 14 points on 4-for-6 shooting.

The last time the Wildcats took the court, they dismantled the New Orleans Privateers, 82-52. The Wildcats had a much better turnover percentage (11.2 vs. 20.4) and had a much better free throw rate (0.350 vs. 0.204). With 18 points, six rebounds and five assists, Vic Law played well for Northwestern.

After the Wildcats won the sole contest against the Cougars last season, 96-31, these teams will clash for the first time this year. The Wildcats had a much better effective field goal percentage (0.600 vs. 0.212) and had a much better turnover percentage (12.3 vs. 33.9).

It will be a matchup of opposite styles as the up-tempo Cougars (ranked 64th in the NCAA in possessions per game) will look to push the slower-paced Wildcats (324th in possessions per game).
