UFC 205 Main Card Odds Review

UFC 205 Main Card Odds Review – The Ultimate Fighting Championship unleashes UFC 205 for their debut in New York City, and the card is the most stacked card of all time. It is the first UFC to offer three title bouts, and with Eddie Alvarez taking on Conor McGregor as the main event in Madison Square Garden this has a shot at being the biggest grossing UFC of all time.

McGregor has already gone through the stratosphere in terms of Q score and name recognition, and it is impressive that he would continue to seek out challenges and take tough fights. McGregor at this point is the “A” draw with anyone in the UFC. A fight with him means you eill make more money than you ever have. McGregor’s star power and aura did not take a hit when he lost to Nate Diaz, and he did come back and avenge the loss in methodical fashion in his following fight. In fighting for the 155 pound title now, McGregor is making a bid at a piece of UFC history, as he would be the first person to reign a champion in two different weight classes simultaneously.

Alvarez is still a relative newcomer to the UFC and he is making his first defense of the UFC’s lightweight title. he won the belt with a decisive first round knock out of Rafael Dos Anjos. Welterweight champion Tyron Woodley wll be making the first defense of his title against Stephen Thompson. Woodley also won the belt via first round knock out of Robbie Lawler. Interestingly both champions are entering their first defenses having left no question in their title matches and they are still walking into these fights Saturday as an underdog. In Thompson, Woodley is getting a guy who has lit up the weight class for seven wins in a row.

That will not be the case for women’s 115 pound champion Joanna Jedrzejczyk. She is facing undefeated Karolina Kowalkiewicz (10-0) but Joanna has done a number on her opponents as champion and at 13-0 she is perhaps the UFC’s most dominant champion right now, this side of 125 lb men’s titlist Demetrious Johnson. here, the UFC has put together a match between two women from Poland, and the two do have an amateur match in their past that Joanna won.

This will be a UFC with two women’s bouts on the PPV as former 135 pound champion Meisha Tate returns to face the challenge of Raquel Pennington.
