Colgate Raiders vs. Bucknell Bison ATS Prediction

The Raiders are hoping for a better outcome after their 81-78 loss to the NJIT Highlanders in their last game. NJIT’s 10.7 turnover percentage was their biggest strength over Colgate, who had a rate of 14.5. Colgate’s Rapolas Ivanauskas played well, putting up 16 points and 13 rebounds.

In the Bison’s last matchup, they barely escaped the St. Bonaventure Bonnies, 88-85. The Bison had a much better offensive rebounding percentage (29.0 vs. 22.6) and had a better effective field goal percentage (0.560 vs. 0.517). With 15 points and 16 rebounds, Bucknell’s Nate Sestina put together a solid game.

After the Bison won all three meetings against the Raiders last season, these teams will meet for the first time this year. In the most recent contest, Bucknell won 83-54. Bucknell was lights out from beyond the arc (13-28; 46.4 percent). Colgate, on the other hand, did a terrific job of making free throws (14-18; 77.8 percent).

Both teams have had a player step their game up over their last five games. Ivanauskas (0 points) has been great for the Raiders while Kimbal Mackenzie (0 points) has made solid contributions to the Bison.

Colgate may struggle to create turnovers. Bucknell ranks 99th in the NCAA at avoiding errors (turnover percentage of 17.7 percent), while Colgate forces the 61st-fewest turnovers (17.3 percent).
