Davidson Wildcats vs. St. Bonaventure Bonnies Free Prediction

The Wildcats will be hoping for similar success after just getting past the Saint Louis Billikens in their last contest, 54-53. Davidson held the Billikens to an effective field goal percentage of 0.408 (below their season average of 0.464). Saint Louis, meanwhile, had an offensive rebounding percentage of 40.5 (above their season average of 34.4). Davidson received a boost from Jon Axel Gudmundsson, who was the game’s high scorer with 27 points on 9-for-12 shooting.

The last time the Bonnies took the court, they were victorious over the Richmond Spiders, 66-57. St. Bonaventure held the Spiders to an offensive rebounding percentage of 6.5 (below their season average of 19.9). Richmond, meanwhile, had a turnover percentage of 8.0 (better than their season average of 14.0). With 18 points, eight rebounds and six assists, Courtney Stockard played well for St. Bonaventure.

After the Wildcats won two out of three contests against the Bonnies last season, this will be the first matchup of the year between these two teams. In the most recent matchup, Davidson won 82-70. Davidson did a great job of making free throws (10-12; 83.3 percent). St. Bonaventure, meanwhile, had a much better offensive rebounding percentage (38.9 vs. 13.0).

Half-court execution will be at a premium when two of the country’s slowest-paced teams go head-to-head. St. Bonaventure ranks 280th in possessions per game (67.5) and Davidson is 275th (67.6).
