Detroit Tigers at Milwaukee Brewers Odds

Vegas has listed Milwaukee (-210) as the favorite over Detroit (+190). The total sits at 8.5 runs and bettors can take either the over or the under for -110. Bettors can also wager on the game’s spread with the most recent runline odds sitting at Tigers +1.5 runs (-115) and Brewers -1.5 runs (-105).

The Tigers are 64-95 SU and are 81-77 against the spread (ATS). They’ve lost 7.2 units for moneyline gamblers and 7.7 units ATS. The Brewers, on the other hand, are 92-67 SU and 83-76 ATS. They’ve gained 19.5 units for moneyline bettors and 3.3 units ATS.

Brewers games have an over/under record of 75-80-4 in 2018. The Tigers have been a decent under bet with a total record of 68-82-8.

The Milwaukee hitters have produced 4.6 runs per outing, including 5.9 per game over its last 10 games and 6.6 per game over their last five. The team has a slash-line of .257/.367/.447 over its last five matchups and is 4-1 SU during that span.

Outfielders Christian Yelich and Lorenzo Cain have led the Brewers’ batters this year. Yelich is slashing .321/.395/.583 with 33 home runs, 104 RBIs, 112 runs and 21 steals, while Cain is hitting .310 with 10 homers, 37 RBIs, 87 runs and 30 steals.

For the visitors, Detroit’s pitching staff allowed 4.9 runs per game and its starting pitchers own a 4.58 ERA, 1.31 WHIP and 7.42 K/9. The bullpen has an ERA of 4.46, along with a K/9 of 7.88.

Right fielder Nicholas Castellanos and third baseman Jeimer Candelario have led Detroit’s hitters. Castellanos is hitting .298/.353/.497 with 22 home runs, 88 RBIs and 85 runs scored. Candelario is hitting .225/.317/.398 with 19 homers, 54 RBIs and 77 runs scored.
