F1 Odds: The Mercedes domination of Formula One is expected to continue at the Monaco Grand Prix on Sunday, May 25th. Nico Rosberg won the first race of the season while Lewis Hamilton has won the past four. It has been a Mercedes one-two finish in all but one of the races this season. Hamilton is listed as the -140 favorite to win the Monaco Grand Prix with Nico Rosberg the second choice at +180. The rest of the drivers are part of the field with odds of 4-1. Let’s look at the race and F1 predictions.

F1 Futures
The driver’s championship is still up for grabs for the season with Hamilton only three points ahead of Rosberg but the constructors championship looks to be over. Mercedes is now a -5000 favorite to win the constructor championship. Hamilton is now a -300 favorite to win the driver’s championship with Rosberg the second choice at odds of nearly 4-1. The field is nearly 6-1.

Hamilton Looking for Perfection
Even though Lewis Hamilton has won the past four races he still thinks he can do better. He also has some motivation to win at Monaco since he feels he let a victory get away a year ago in this race. “I want to win there,” said Hamilton. “Monaco is one of those I always target before the season – that one and Silverstone are the two real ones you point out.” Hamilton wants to make it five straight with a win at Monaco. “Although we have a good advantage right now, the moment we stand still our rivals will be ready to pounce, so we have to stay on our toes at all times.”

F1 Standings after Spanish Grand Prix
1 Lewis Hamilton 100 points
2 Nico Rosberg 97
3 Fernando Alonso 49
4 Sebastian Vettel 45
5 Daniel Ricciardo 39
6 Nico Hulkenberg 37
7 Jenson Button 23
8 Kevin Magnussen 20
9 Sergio Perez 20

F1 Predictions
There will likely be a time to take the field against Mercedes but that time hasn’t arrived as no other teams have been close to Mercedes this season. I will take Hamilton at -140 to make it five straight.
