The UC Irvine Anteaters (20-5, 8-1 BigWst) put their six-game winning streak on the line when they go head-to-head with the Hawaii Rainbow Warriors (14-8, 5-3 BigWst) at Bren Events Center. The game can be seen on ESPN 3 at 10 p.m. ET on Saturday, February 9, 2019.

Hawaii Rainbow Warriors vs. UC Irvine Anteaters Betting Prediction

In the Rainbow Warriors’ last matchup, they defeated the Long Beach State 49ers, 77-70. Hawaii’s 11.4 turnover percentage was their largest strength over Long Beach State, who had a rate of 19.7. The Rainbow Warriors’ mark was better than their season average of 15.9. Hawaii received a boost from Zigmars Raimo, who had 14 points and 10 rebounds.

The Anteaters were victorious over the Cal State Fullerton Titans in their last contest, 60-53. UC Irvine held the Titans to an effective field goal percentage of 0.358 (below their season average of 0.510). Cal State Fullerton, on the other hand, did a terrific job of converting from the charity stripe (15-21; 71.4 percent). Expect this one to be a clinic on boxing out as two of the NCAA’s top rebounding teams battle. The Anteaters currently rank 60th in offensive rebounding percentage (32.8 percent), while Hawaii ranks 58th in defensive rebounding percentage (74.8 percent).

This will be the second game of the season between these two teams. In the first, the Rainbow Warriors lost 75-74. Raimo put up 16 points and six rebounds. UC Irvine’s effective field goal percentage was its largest strength over Hawaii. The Anteaters had a rate of 0.558 while the Rainbow Warriors posted a mark of 0.482.
