Vegas has listed Kansas City (+105) as the underdog to Chicago (-115). Bettors can wager on the game’s total with odds sitting at +105 for over 9.5 runs and -125 for under 9.5. Gamblers can also wager on the game’s spread with the most recent runline odds standing at -200 for the Royals +1.5 runs and +170 for the White Sox -1.5.

The White Sox are 46-46 against the spread (ATS)despite being only 31-61 straight up (SU). They’ve lost 19.8 units for bettors taking the moneyline and 7.3 units (ATS). Second baseman Whit Merrifield and third baseman Mike Moustakas continue to lead Kansas City’s hitters. The speedy Merrifield is hitting .302/.373/.430 with five home runs, 29 RBIs, 39 runs and 16 steals, while Moustakas is hitting .256/.310/.480 with 19 homers, 58 RBIs and 42 runs scored.

The Royals have lost 30.9 units and are 22-39 ATS when facing a righty starter this season. The over has cashed in 26 of those games, compared to 31 that’ve gone under in such games. On the other hand, the White Sox have lost 16.4 units and are 35-37 ATS when facing a righty starter. The over’s cashed in 32 of those games, compared to 35 that went under the total.
