Paris Saint-Germain Looks To Secure Top Spot in Champions League Against Ajax

Edinson Cavani has had Paris Saint-Germain rolling in league play.

Description: PSG plays host to Ajax on November 25, and are looking to stay atop Group F and ahead of Barcelona.

Zlatan Ibrahimović appears to be back, as he played in Sweden’s International Nov. 15, and for their domestic PSG Ligue 1 match this past weekend. That is good news for PSG fans. Edinson Cavani and Ezequiel Lavezzi have certainly done their share of contributing in his absence, making PSG one of only two clubs who have not lost any match in either Europe or domestically in France.

Ajax certainly has nothing to play for, being in third spot with two points, and will not be moving on to the round of 16. There is some significance to PSG getting these three points to secure the top spot in Group F, as they are indeed only one point clear of second place Barcelona.

These two clubs last met two months ago in Netherlands, as the match finished at a 1-1 draw.

Three Way Lines:

Final Analysis & Predictions

Make your life a little easier by first ensuring who is in the lineup for PSG, because if the front three looks like they are playing to get three points, then there is no reason to be shy about putting in your action in hopes of both seeing goals and a big PSG win. I highly doubt that Ajax has anything to invest here, but it is strange to see them doing so well in their Holland domestic Eredivisie, and they are scoring in droves of late in league play.

Prediction/Play

Again, keep an eye out for the starting XI announcement, and make your action after you are in the know when it comes to who is on the pitch for PSG. Naturally if No. 10 is in their starting lineup, we know they want three points and will undoubtedly get them. PSG on the handicap -1.5 at +100 and that Over 2.5 with minimal -120 juice should be the play in that case. Otherwise, if you see that the big names are out, I would just stick with the total to go Over regardless.
