Video Blog: Combat Sport Betting Results

The results are in for the ongoing Combat Sports Betting Blog for the weekend of November 22nd.

It wasn’t a particularly good week, as risking most of the bank on underdogs did not pay off.  Chris Algieri proved to not be in the neighborhood after all when he finally had to box against Manny Pacquiao.  Algieiri carried himself extremely well, and the (+535) number was less than at the opening, as he did make people put faith on his corner.  At the end of the day, he came up short.

At the UFC’s Fight Night 57 event, lightweight Isaac Vallie-Flagg had been pinpointed as a underdog pick at (+170) as he was facing Matt Wiman.  Wiman was returning after a first round KO loss sent him into a twenty month layoff, while Vallie-Flagg was coming off two losses in a row, but appeared renewed heading into this fight.

For Wiman, he deserves credit as a layoff that long is no joke, as the sport grows and evolves.  The game is different than two years ago, but Wiman was able to get the fight going his way.  As for Vallie-Falgg, a third loss in row usually spells a cut, and that is probably his fate.  Check out more of the facts and figures out in this latest blog:
