Clemson Tigers vs. Texas A&M Aggies Betting Preview

Texas A&M is a live dog and is currently getting 12 points in this game. If they want to play the moneyline, gamblers would currently need to put down $500 in order to win $100 back on the Tigers (-500). The Aggies are getting +350 moneyline odds. If one school can create a bunch of points in the early stages, it’ll probably generate a decent betting opportunity in-game.

The line initially opened at 11 but early action has shifted in favor of the Tigers

The Tigers have gained 0.0 units so far in 2018 and are 0-1 against the spread (ATS). The team has posted an O/U record of 0-0. The Aggies have gained 0.0 units this season. The team is 1-0 ATS and also has an O/U record of 0-0.

The Tigers have gone 1-0 straight up (SU) in 2018 while the Aggies are also 1-0 SU.

The Tigers are looking to stay unbeaten following a 48-7 win over Furman last week. the Tigers completed 22-of-35 passes for 277 yards and four touchdowns. Kelly Bryant went 10-for-16 for 127 yards and one touchdown while Trevor Lawrence completed nine-of-15 for 137 yards and three touchdowns. Travis Etienne (63 yards on 11 rushes, one TD) and Lyn-J Dixon (89 yards on six carries) led the running attack in the win while Tee Higgins (three receptions, 35 yards) and Amari Rodgers (three catches, 44 yards, one TD) shared the receiving duties.

Texas A&M just picked up a 59-7 win over Northwestern State. The defense did its job in the victory, limiting the Demons to just 230 passing yards and 21 yards on the ground. Jazz Ferguson had a good showing in the defeat, recording 129 yards on four catches for Northwestern State. As a group, the Aggies collectively completed 23-of-35 passes for 255 yards and three touchdowns. Kellen Mond went 17-for-25 for 184 yards and two touchdowns while Nick Starkel was five-of-eight for 63 yards and one touchdown. Trayveon Williams (240 rushing yards on 20 attempts, three TDs) spearheaded the ground game in the win as Jhamon Ausbon (six receptions, 81 yards) and Jace Sternberger (five catches, 56 yards, two TDs) led the pass-catching attack.

It seems like the Tigers may own the advantage in all aspects of the ground game, since their running backs produced 4.7 yards per carry last season while their defense allowed a YPC of 3.1 to opposing runners. The Aggies ran for 4.0 yards per carry last year and allowed a YPC of 4.2 to opponents..
