Burroughs starts Podcast #73 by talking about Brooks Koepka’s injury and the time he will miss. Our host gets us up to date in the world of golf over the last two weeks, the Sony Open in Hawaii and CareerBuilder Challenge. Patton Kizzire picked up his second win of the year in Hawaii, while in Palm Springs, Jon Rahm continued his climb to the top with a playoff win against Andrew Landry.

Our host talks about this week’s events on both tour’s. The West Coast Swing continues on the PGA Tour this week in San Diego at the Farmers Insurance Open. Tiger Woods is making his return to golf and Jon Rahm defends.

The desert swing on the European Tour continues this week at the Omega Dubai Desert Classic where Sergio Garcia is the defending champion. He will have his hands full with a world class field trying to take him down.

Burroughs makes his picks for the week as well as helping you set your fantasy team. Our host record for last week was 3-3 and 16-9-2 for the year. Burroughs dishes on this week’s action on all the tours across the world.

Jon Rahm -125 vs. Rickie Fowler +105

Rahm is the hottest player in the world and Rickie is not far behind. The young Spaniard won last week at the CareerBuilder and won here last year. The kid has no weaknesses and could easily win again this week. Fowler grew up in California but has had a mixed bag of finishes at Torrey Pines, he reeled off four straight top-20 finishes, then has missed three of the last four weekends in San Diego. Rahm is red hot and will easily beat Fowler.

Gary Woodland -135 vs. Brandt Snedeker +115

Snedeker is a two-time champion of this event but recently has battled several injuries and his game isn’t what it needs to be to battle against a healthy Woodland who also has had success at Torrey Pines. Woodland has made eight starts here and made the cut all eight times, including four straight top 20’s. A top 20 here will be good enough to beat Snedeker. Lay the chalk and take Woodland.

Defending Champion: Jon Rahm
Venue: Torrey Pines GC, San Diego, California – 7,698 yards, par 72
