Burroughs starts Podcast #71 by talking about Tiger Woods and his return to competitive golf. How many events he plays, if he wins, how many top 10’s, missed cuts, everything! Our host talks about the new rule change that prohibits viewers from calling in penalties – about time!

Our host talks about this week’s event in Hawaii at the Sentry Tournament of Champions. The limited 34 player betting field is loaded at the top but far from the strongest fields of the year. Jordan Spieth, Justin Thomas, Rickie Fowler and Dustin Johnson are the betting favorites.

Burroughs makes his picks for the week as well as helping you set your fantasy team. Our host record for the year is 10-5-2. Burroughs dishes on this week’s action on all the tours across the world.

Should be another exciting week in golf!

Burroughs Predictions for the Sentry Tournament of Champions – ODDS courtesy of BETDSI.eu

The horse for the course has to be Jordan Spieth +525. In three starts at Kapalua, he’s gone 2nd – Win – T3. His scoring average in 12 rounds at Kapalua is 67 – he loves the track! No one on the planet is more consistent than the World No. 2 ranked player. He arrives with six straight top 10’s, the latest a T3 at the Hero World Challenge. Spieth is the player to beat this week.

Jon Rahm +1500 is making his first start at Kapalua and many of the experts say that the tricky trade winds will give any first year player some problems, but last I checked, Rahm was making his first start at all the venues last year and all he did was pick up three wins worldwide and vault to the top five in the world. At +1500, he offers gamers great value.

MATCHUPS of the WEEK (Odds courtesy of BetDSI)

Jordan Spieth -125 vs. Justin Thomas

The battle of two best friends begins this week. Both have won this tournament and both are in great form. The difference will be with the flatstick where Spieth has the upperhand. Spieth has played this event three times with finishes of 2nd – Win – T3. Someone is going to have to play extremely well to beat the Golden Child this week and Thomas won’t

Cameron Smith +110 vs. Brian Harman -130

Not the average golf fan knows much about Smith. He’s young. He’s from Australia and he can really, really play. The 24-year old is coming off two top 5”s in his last two starts and is going to have a big year starting this week in Hawaii.
