NASCAR Go Bowling 400 DFS Lineup

The NASCAR Sprint Cup Series heads to Kansas Speedway for the first of two scheduled races in Kansas City this season. The GO BOWLING 400 will be the first night race of the season. While it might not make much of a difference to the drivers, there is no doubt that the excitement ramps up under the bright lights for the night races. We took the time to build the perfect combination of star power and strong value picks to get you ready for this week’s fantasy competitions. Here is a look at the optimal lineup for this week’s DraftKings NASCAR daily fantasy leagues.

Jimmie Johnson, $9,700

Johnson has recorded top-10 finishes in three of his last four starts including back-to-back wins at Texas and Bristol. Considering his track record at Kansas, it only makes sense to back him this week. Johnson has a series-best three wins at Kansas and his 8.9 average finishing position is the best in this week’s field. Johnson has finished three of the last four Kansas races in the top-four including a win in the 2015 spring race. Johnson has really turned it on over the past few weeks. He is a smart choice at the top of every DraftKings lineup this week.

Kyle Busch, $9,600

Will Kyle Busch ever win another Sprint Cup race? The veteran Joe Gibbs Racing driver has to be wondering what it will take to finally make that trip to Victory Lane. Busch has recorded four top-10 finishes this season, three in which he placed second or third. It’s only a matter of time before Busch finally breaks through. We are banking on another top-10 finish this week at Kansas.

Kyle Larson, $9,000

Larson has been a model of consistency all season and that should continue this weekend at Kansas. Larson has scored the most points of any driver on intermediate tracks this year. He finished second at Atlanta, Las Vegas and Texas. He also won the race at the Auto Club Speedway. It’s impossible to overlook that level of dominance at intermediate tracks. At $9K, Larson is actually an excellent value option for this week’s race.

Ricky Stenhouse Jr., $7,200

Stenhouse is coming off a surprising win at Talladega last week. Fantasy owners should be taking a close look at him this week. Stenhouse has recorded five top-10 finishes already this season. His average finishing position over his last five starts is 7.6. At just $7.2K, it’s almost impossible to ignore Stenhouse as an outstanding value pick this week.

Aric Almirola, $7,000

Almirola failed inspection at Talladega after finishing fourth. However, we don’t see that as any reason to overlook him this week. Almirola is coming off back-to-back top-10 finishes and his cars have looked great all year. Richard Petty Motorsports has done a quality job for the most part with the exception of this latest incident. Look for Almirola to compete with a sense of urgency this weekend and produce a strong finish at Kansas.

On the season, Almirola is in 20th place in the NASCAR standings. He has three Top 20 finishes this year but prior to this current hot back-to-back streak, he hadn’t placed in the Top 10.

A.J. Allmendinger, $6,800

The last time we saw Allmendinger he was upside down at Talladega. We are banking on him having a better performance this week as another excellent value option at Kansas. Allmendinger has just two top-10 finishes this season but for the most part he has been able to finish races. At under $7K, Allmendinger is the best option left on the board for us in DraftKings competitions for this weekend’s GO BOWLING 400.

Allmendinger enters the week in 29th place in the Monster Energy NASCAR Cup standings. He has just one top five this season but another one in this spot would do wonders for us.
