New York Mets at Boston Red Sox Odds

Oddsmakers have listed Boston (-145) as the favorite over New York (+135). The total sits at 8.5 runs and bettors can wager on the over for -120 and the under for +100. The game’s runline odds stand at -160 for betting the Mets +1.5 runs and +140 for the Red Sox -1.5.

The Red Sox are 101-46 straight up (SU) and 86-60 against the spread (ATS). They’ve gained 34.4 units for moneyline bettors and 24.6 units (ATS). The Mets are 68-78 SU and have gone 71-72 ATS. In total, the team’s lost 13.2 units for gamblers taking the moneyline and 7.9 units ATS.

Boston games have had an over/under record of 68-71-7 in 2018. The Mets have an over/under record of 65-70-8.

Noah Syndergaard is getting the start for the visiting Mets. The right-handed Syndergaard (11-3, 3.44 ERA) has recorded 132 punchouts in 128.1 innings so far. He has yet to face the Red Sox this year and did not record a start against them in 2017, either.
