NFL Week 10 Opening Odds Report

Evan Habeeb-USA TODAY Sports

Week 9 of the NFL season is almost in the books, which means we’ve got the Week 10 opening lines posted up on the board to digest. Here’s a look at the Week 10 opening odds:

Carolina Panthers at Pittsburgh Steelers

Opening Line: Steelers -5

Two hot teams meet in this Thursday Night football showdown as the Steelers have won four straight while Carolina has won five of their last six.

Buffalo Bills at New York Jets

Opening Line: Jets -8.5

The Bills are a disaster with Nathan Peterman under center as he threw another three picks – one for a touchdown – last week. The Jets have issues at quarterback themselves as Sam Darnold threw four last week.

Atlanta Falcons at Cleveland Browns
Opening Line: Falcons -3.5

The Falcons have come to life with three straight wins, averaging 31.7 points per game in the process. Cleveland is reeling, having lost four straight while giving up 33.5 points per game.

New Orleans Saints at Cincinnati Bengals

Opening Line: Saints -4.5

The Saints will be in a tough spot here. They’ll go on the road to play a decent Bengals team after a trio of games against Baltimore, Minnesota and the Los Angeles Rams. This could be a letdown spot.

Washington Redskins at Tampa Bay Buccaneers

Opening Line: Bucs -2.5

It’s hard to believe that the division-leading Washington Redskins are a road dog in Tampa Bay against a team that’s lost five of six. However, the Redskins are not viewed as a particularly strong team.

Miami Dolphins at Green Bay Packers

Opening Line: Packers -9

The Dolphins are 5-4 after a win over the New York Jets. However, their offense has struggled the last couple of weeks as injuries have caught up with the team.

Jacksonville Jaguars at Indianapolis Colts

Opening Line: Colts -3.5

Both teams return off of their bye hoping to make their move in the AFC South. The Texans have three more wins that both of these sides.

Detroit Lions at Chicago Bears

Opening Line: Bears -7

It just feels like the Lions packed it in for the season with the Golden Tate trade. They have trouble running the ball consistently and gave up 10 sacks to Minnesota last week. It won’t get much easier on the road in the cold in Chicago.

Arizona Cardinals at Kansas City Chiefs
Opening Line: Chiefs -16.5

The Chiefs will be one of the biggest favorites of the season when they take on the hapless Arizona Cardinals.

Los Angeles Chargers at Oakland Raiders
Opening Line: Chargers -10

We saw this line open at -8 and it’s already climbed to -10. Expect it to go higher as the Raiders have packed it in for the season. Meanwhile, the Chargers have won five straight.

Seattle Seahawks at Los Angeles Rams

Opening Line: Rams -10

The Rams are coming off their first loss of the season and now get to host the Seahawks. The Seahawks came back down to Earth last week in a deflating home loss to the other Los Angeles team.

Dallas Cowboys at Philadelphia Eagles

Opening Line: Eagles -6

With the Redskins loss, both teams have a chance to pull closer to the top of the NFC East with a win here. Both made wide receiver trades at the deadline and will be aiming to make a run.

New York Giants at San Francisco 49ers

Opening Line: 49ers -2.5

There will be some intrigue with this game after Nick Mullens starred for the 49ers on Thursday night. He’ll be one of the key storylines in an otherwise listless Monday Night Football matchup.
