Notre Dame Fighting Irish vs. Indiana Hoosiers ATS Prediction

The last time the Fighting Irish played, they blew out the Delaware Fightin’ Blue Hens, 92-68. Converting at the free throw line was one of Notre Dame’s biggest strengths. They were 13-14 (92.9 percent), while the Fightin’ Blue Hens were just 9-13 (69.2 percent). Bonzie Colson played a key role for Notre Dame with 19 points and 12 rebounds.

The Hoosiers lost to the Louisville Cardinals in their last contest, 71-62. Louisville’s turnover percentage was their biggest advantage over Indiana. The Cardinals had a rate of 15.2 (better than their season average of 16.0), while the Hoosiers posted a mark of 19.1 (above their season average of 15.1). Juwan Morgan had a good game for Indiana, leading both teams in scoring with 17 points on 7-for-12 shooting.

Look for Indiana to own the offensive glass in this matchup. Dating back to the 2016-17 season, the Hoosiers rank 40th in offensive rebounding percentage (35.7 percent), while Notre Dame ranks 297th in defensive rebounding percentage (68.9 percent). Ball security should be an advantage for the Fighting Irish. They rank 3rd at avoiding errors (turnover percentage of 14.0 percent). Conversely, the Hoosiers have forced the 39th-fewest turnovers in the nation (opponents’ turnover percentage of 16.7 percent).
