San Francisco Giants vs New York Mets Preview and Prediction

In the last of a three-game series between the San Francisco Giants (43-42) and the New York Mets (43-42) at AT&T Park, Jake Peavy (0-3, 6.43 ERA) and Jacob deGrom (8-6, 2.30 ERA) get the start. The Giants won the last game 3-0 and the series is currently tied 1-1. The game starts at 3:45 p.m. ET on Wednesday, Jul. 8 and will air on SNY, CSN-BAY and MLB Network.

Peavy is 6-3 with a 3.45 ERA against the Mets in his career, and faces a struggling New York offense that’s hitting just .232 on the year.
