Arizona Coyotes vs. Minnesota Wild Odds

The Wild (-185) are the big favorite over the Coyotes (+160), and oddsmakers have put the Over/Under (O/U) at 6 goals (-110 for the over, -110 for the under).

Minnesota is 14-9 straight up (SU) and has earned moneyline bettors 2.6 units this season. That winning percentage, ranked fifth in the league in this young season, isn’t too far off from to the 45-37 record the team produced during the 2017-18 season campaign. Through 23 regular season contests, 11 of its games have gone over the total, while 10 have gone under and just two have pushed. The team is 8-4 SU at home this year.

The Wild have converted on 21.5 percent of their power play opportunities this season, a mark that’s right around league average. On the other hand, their penalty kill is ranked fourth overall, and they’ve successfully killed off 85.2 percent of all penalties.

Averaging 28.8 saves per game with a .921 save percentage, Devan Dubnyk (10-7-2) has been the most dependable goalkeeper for Minnesota this year. If the Wild choose to give him the night off, however, Minnesota could go with Alex Stalock (5-2-2 record, .913 save percentage, 2.45 goals against average).

Arizona has lost 3.0 units for bettors taking the moneyline thus far and is currently 9-13 straight up (SU). Through 22 regular season outings, 12 of its games have gone under the total, while nine have gone over and just one has pushed. The Coyotes are 4-6 SU as an away team this season.

The Coyotes have converted on just 15.5 percent of their power play chances this season, a mark that’s ranked 27th in the NHL. On the other hand, its penalty kill unit is ranked second overall and it’s successfully killed off 90.3 percent of all penalties.

Darcy Kuemper (28.1 saves per game) has been the primary option in the net for Arizona. Kuemper owns a 4-7-2 record, and has registered a .914 save percentage and 2.71 goals against average this year.
