So, here we are, cuddling with a blanket in the bitter cold in New York, while they play with yellow furry balls in Australia, China and Qatar.

Let’s get some predictions with the matchups and lines we see on the board, and now that you know that Geoff Harvey and I are going to be splitting tennis duties around here, please take advantage of it!

Geoff will be covering the women, and yours truly will be covering the men’s side of the tour’s, so I hope you are all looking forward to using GMS as your spot to fulfill your tennis needs.

First play here goes to Mr. Nishikori, who simply owns Tomic in the two meetings they have had thus far. Two sweeps leads me to the Under 22 in that contest. Until Tomic shows me that he can handle Nishikori at all, that will lead me to my first prediction, so lets make that official….

Tomic Vs Nishikori ~ Under 22 Games at -110

I personally think that Cilic and Thiem are going to be playing tennis for hours when they face off in Brisbane, and I will attack that total with all I have. I suggest tossing in the Over 22.5 while also going with my first bold prediction of the year, and putting a decent bet on Thiem to take down Cilic in an upset. At +210, the value is there, and I will enjoy that price deep in to the night.

So….

Clilc vs Thiem ~ Over 22.5 @ -110 and Thiem to take the ML win at +210.

Anyone out there ready for another epic match between Stan and Guillermo? These two know each other rather well, and I don’t see Stan just wiping the floor with Mr Garcia-Lopez at all. I will offer up this total as well, and hopefully take advantage of the simple Over 21 games being offered here.

Warwinka vs Garcia-Lopez ~ Over 21 @ -110
