Houston Astros vs. Baltimore Orioles Odds

The Orioles are 46-115 straight up (SU) and 66-93 against the spread (ATS). They’ve lost 53.6 units for moneyline bettors and 39.5 units (ATS). The Astros are 103-58 SU and have gone 82-77 ATS. In total, the team’s lost 2.4 units for bettors taking the moneyline and 3.3 units ATS.

Baltimore games have had an over/under record of 72-82-5 in 2018. Houston has also been a decent under bet with a total record of 70-81-8.

Right-hander Charlie Morton is projected to start for Houston. Morton is 15-3 with a 3.18 ERA and 197 strikeouts. He’s 1-0 with six strikeouts and a 0.00 ERA against Baltimore this year.

The Orioles are sending righty Jimmy Yacabonis (0-2, 6.00 ERA) to the mound. Yacabonis has 32 punchouts and 16 walks to his credit, as well as a WHIP of 1.53. Yacabonis hasn’t faced the Astros yet this year and did not record a start against them in 2017.

Houston’s offense has been led by third baseman Alex Bregman and second baseman Jose Altuve, who’ve collectively blasted 44 home runs. Bregman is hitting .287/.395/.534 with 31 home runs, 103 RBIs and 105 runs scored. Altuve (.314/.384/.449) is up to 13 homers, 61 RBIs, 84 runs and 17 stolen bases.
