The Cleveland Cavaliers are in a precarious position, down 0-2 in the NBA Finals against arguably the most talented team in NBA history. The Golden State Warriors took a commanding lead with a dominant 122-103 win Sunday. But the Cavs could get some help in the Finals from Air Bud.

Wait, Air Bud? That’s right — the golden retriever who rose to fame in the 1997 Disney film has offered to help the Cavs.

The dog has been an active commentator throughout the Finals.

Air Bud also interacted with the Cavs earlier this season, when he applauded Kevin Love for oddly scratching his back against the court.

The Cavs are searching for answers after Golden State’s Game 2 explosion, so maybe they’ll give this ringer a shot.

Warriors In Command

Steph Curry set an NBA Finals record with nine three-pointers in Game 2. He finished with 33 points, eight assists, and seven rebounds.

His fellow sharpshooters, Kevin Durant and Klay Thompson, also played efficiently. Durant added 26 points, nine rebounds, and seven assists. Thompson was on fire in the third quarter, and he totaled 20 points.

The Cavs — of course — got their biggest boost from LeBron. King James poured in 29 points, 13 assists, and nine rebounds. He likely would have played the full game if it hadn’t gotten out of hand late.

The series now moves to Cleveland, where the Cavs will fight to get back in contention. Game 3 is slated for Wednesday at 9 p.m. EST on ABC.
