Soccer Odds: It all comes down to one match for the La Liga title with Atletico Madrid visiting Barcelona on Saturday. Madrid had their chance to wrap things up last week but they couldn’t beat Malaga at home. Now they need a win or a draw at Barcelona or they will lose the title to Barcelona. The oddsmakers like Barcelona in this game as they are listed at -130 on the three-way line with Atletico Madrid at +300. The total on the match is listed at 2.5 under.

Here is a look at this winner take all match and soccer predictions.

Atletico is trying to become champions of La Liga for the first time since 1996 while Barcelona is trying to defend the title they won by 15 points a year ago. The only advantage that Atletico has is that they only need a draw to win the title. Even though they just need a draw, Atletico has said they will not be playing for the tie. “We have to keep fighting to the end,” Atletico midfielder Jose Sosa said, “We will be full of energy and have our heads held high. “The whole team is showing that we have the character and the strength for this season finale. We have two options but it would be a mistake to go there and try to hold on for a draw.”

Saturday’s match will only be the third time in La Liga history that the title will be decided in a winner take all match and the first time since 1951.

Barcelona thought their chances of winning the title were over but Atletico has let them back in the race the past two weeks. “We have been given another chance to win the league and we have to find whatever is necessary to achieve that goal,” Barcelona’s full-back Dani Alves said. “It is very tough to achieve things, the fact that the three teams didn’t win gives achieving things even more value. If we genuinely deserve the title, we have to prove it by beating Atletico.”

Match Notes and Soccer Predictions
These teams have met five times this season with Atletico winning once while the other four ended in draws. This is a tough one to call as Atletico already should have wrapped up the title. Barcelona simply hasn’t played that well against Atletico this season and I think Atletico has a real shot to win this so I will take them at +300.
