UFC on FOX 28 Odds For Saturday

UFC on FOX 28 Odds

UFC on FOX 28 Odds – The Ultimate Fighting Championship is in Orlando, Florida this Saturday night for the 28th offering in their UFC on FOX series. The headliner comes to us in the featherweight division as veteran brawler Jeremy Stephens faces fast rising Josh Emmett in a scheduled five round bout.

Unlike the lightweight division, the 145 pounders have settled down after the Conor McGregor era and champion Max Holloway has taken a firm hold of the title. Everyone is gunning for him, and with both Stephens and Emmett on two fight winning streaks, you have to think the winner will still be a win or to away from a title shot.

Both men know they have to keep winning. Stephens (27-14) has been through the mill over a 40 fight MMA career and here he is serving as the doorman to the upper echelon of the rankings for the 13-1 Emmett.

Stephens is returning on just six weeks notice, as he dispatched Korea’s Doo Ho Choi on January 14th. Prior to that, he upset Gilbert Melendez in September of last year, so Emmett is getting avery good version of Stephens for this test. Emmett took a loss to Desmond Green in April of 2017 and Green has lost every fight since. Emmett has bounced back with two wins in a row, including a win over Ricardo Lamas in his last outing. Lamas was in a featherweight title fight less than two years ago, so Stephens would give him two solid scalps on his resume.

The co-feature comes in the ladies’ 115 pound category as Tecia Torres (10-1) and Jessica Andrade (17-6) square off. The title is currently owned by Rose Namajunas who may have to rematch former champion Joanne Jedrzejczyk before anyone else gets a crack at the belt, but Torres and Andrade are both getting close. Here Andrade will enter the fight favored over Torres at -320 one of the widest lines on the card.

The light heavyweight encounter between Ovince St Preaux (22-10) and Ilir Latifi (13-5) is also on the card. The rugged St Preaux is riding a three fight winning streak and he is coming off an active 2017 that saw him go 3-1 overall. Latifi is entering his tenth UFC fight and he is 6-3 so far with the big show. This one is a near pick ’em fight at the books.

Below are the odds for the entire UFC on FOX 28 card. Check your local listings for start times and note the fights below that will air on the UFC’s “Fight Pass.”
