Giannis Antetokounmpo won the NBA Most Valuable Player award, the Golden State Warriors plan to hold talks with Kevin Durant and Klay Thompson this week and Toronto Raptors president Masai Ujiri wants to stay put.

Milwaukee Bucks forward Giannis Antetokounmpo won the NBA MVP award, becoming the third youngest to do it after Derrick Rose and LeBron James. Luka Doncic of the Dallas Mavericks beat Trae Young and DeAndre Ayton for the Rookie of the Year title and Toronto Raptors power forward Pascal Siakam won Most Improved Player.

Warriors to talk future with KD, Klay this week | ESPN

Kevin Durant and Klay Thompson will be two of the most sought after players in free agency, but the Golden State Warriors want to keep them both and will hold talks this week.

“We’re not doing any videos and tours of the city. Basically, it’s a ‘We want you back, and we hope you decide to come back and see what happens,’ but we’re at a different place now.” Steve Kerr said.

After leading the Toronto Raptors to their first ever NBA championship, president of basketball operations, Masai Ujiri does not want to leave despite reports that the Washington Wizards offered him $10 million annually.
