Colorado State Rams vs. Wyoming Cowboys ATS Prediction

In the Rams’ last matchup, they were defeated by the No. 6 Nevada Wolf Pack, 98-82. Nevada made good use of their 35 trips to the charity stripe, making 28 of them (80.0 percent). Colorado State, on the other hand, was just 11-16 (68.8 percent). Nico Carvacho was Colorado State’s leading scorer with 24 points on 11-for-15 shooting.

The Cowboys were beaten by the Air Force Falcons in their last outing, 81-76. Air Force’s 18.8 offensive rebounding percentage was their biggest advantage over Wyoming, who had a mark of 6.9. The Falcons’ mark was below their season average of 23.8, while the Cowboys’ was below their season average of 17.7. With 22 points on 7-for-17 shooting, Justin James led Wyoming in scoring.

After splitting two games last season, these teams will clash for the first time this year. The Cowboys won the most recent game 91-86. The Cowboys had a much better free throw rate (0.304 vs. 0.197) and had a better effective field goal percentage (0.507 vs. 0.467).

The high-octane offense of Colorado State (72nd in the nation with an offensive efficiency of 110.2) will clash against the mid-tier defense of Wyoming (287th in the country with a defensive efficiency of 107.4). The Rams figure to have the edge on that side of the ball.
